We know that biomimicry has the power to change the world, but it’s always nice when someone else agrees with you. Especially when that someone is the prestigious think tank GDI Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute.
GDI recently announced their 2013 Global Thought Leader ranking, which identifies the top 100 thinkers from every discipline and using a specially designed software. Their analysis measures not only how well a leader or idea comes across via a specific medium, such as Twitter or Youtube, but also how well they are networked. As the article notes:
“Unlike other rankings, global thought leaders in this study are not simply reduced to a place number: the analysis also shows how the world’s leading thinkers are networked, and which of them are relevant across countries and subject areas, which are being talked about, and which are triggering wider debate.”
