Catch up on the latest: Biomimicry 3.8 in the news

We’ve added quite a few new news features on our In the Media page lately–including a story this week from The Atlantic’s City Lab blog featuring our senior principal designer Erin Rovalo, and her take on why designing our built environment to function like nature’s ecosystems represents “the pinnacle of what sustainable design can be.”

Under the business section, we’ve got a great article about doing business for good. Our managing director Nicole Miller was the keynote speaker at Appalachian State University’s Business for Good Conference. You can read the full article about Nicole’s presentation below. Finally, the Line, Space, Shape article “Nature Does it Better” features our principal Jamie Dwyer, and is a great look at biomimicry’s applications in the fields of architecture and engineering.
